Effective date: 15 September 2026
This policy explains what information ORDOLAB ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit www.ordolab.co, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
If you contact us through the site, we collect what you enter in the form:
Name
Email address
Company
Project timeline
If you consent to analytics cookies, we also collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics, such as which pages you visit and where you arrived from.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not buy or obtain information about you from data brokers or third party sources.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for two things: to remember your cookie choice, and, if you consent, to measure how the site is used.
Analytics cookies are off until you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button on the site.
Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. You can control analytics cookies through the cookie settings on this site.
Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries and communicate about design projects
To carry out work under a client agreement
To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
Legal basis
Under UK and EU GDPR we rely on:
Consent for analytics cookies. You give it by accepting on the cookie banner, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Performance of a contract where we have entered into a client agreement with you.
Legitimate interests to respond to enquiries sent through our contact form, to communicate with clients and prospective clients about design projects, and to maintain records of our business correspondence.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for 12 months and then deleted.
Client project records, contracts and correspondence are kept for 6 years after the engagement ends, to meet accounting and tax record keeping requirements.
Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months.
When we no longer need your information, we delete it or anonymise it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your information for advertising.
Your information is handled by the services we use to run the studio, which include Google Analytics for site measurement and our email provider for correspondence. We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
International transfers
Your information may be processed outside the UK and EEA, where the studio operates. Where a client requires it, transfers are governed by the terms of the individual client agreement. Analytics data is processed by Google under its own data transfer terms.
Automated decision making
We do not make automated decisions about you. Enquiries are read and answered by a person.
Your rights
You have the right to:
Access the information we hold about you and receive a copy
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Ask us to delete your information
Object to or restrict how we use it
Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
To exercise any of these, email hello@ordolab.co. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
We do not provide services to children and do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to keep your information secure. No method of transmission or storage online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
